Director Of Nursing

Weatherly Inn is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Director Of Nursing to support high-quality resident care in our assisted living and memory care community. This role is ideal for a licensed LPN or RN who values teamwork, strong clinical standards, and meaningful relationships with residents and families.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care in accordance with care plans and physician orders
- Administer medications, treatments, and CBG checks with accurate documentation
- Monitor and document changes in resident condition and report concerns promptly
- Communicate effectively with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary teams
- Complete shift reports, narcotic counts, and incident documentation
- Follow infection control, safety procedures, and boarding home regulations
- Serve as Charge Nurse when scheduled or in absence of supervision
- Maintain a clean, organized nursing station and medication room
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; College Degree in Nursing preferred
- 5+ year of nursing or related experience preferred; with 2 years in supervisory role required
- Active Washington State LPN License required
- Demonstrated high clinical competence and knowledge of nursing care needs and high quality documentation, thorough knowledge and understanding of WA. Boarding Home regulations
- Required certifications (upon hire or within designated time frame):
- CPR (within 30 days)
- Fundamentals of Caregiving
- Dementia & Mental Health Training (within 90 days)
- WA. state Driver License with no infractions within 3 years
