Schedule/Hours: 40 hours per week
This position is responsible for managing, monitoring, and supervising federal inmates who are in the custody of the Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP) and housed at the Residential Reentry Center (RRC); meets with inmates weekly to discuss program requirements, process in set goals and the different components of the program. Reviews inmate program participation and makes recommendations regarding and disciplinary matters.

Physical Requirements
Work requires the ability to lift and carry and/or push/pull light (less than 25lbs.) materials, supplies, and equipment. Light mobility: duties are usually performed by a combination of standing, walking, and primarily sitting.
Working Conditions
Work is performed in a normal office environment where there are little or no physical discomforts associated with changes in weather or discomforts associated with noise, dust, dirt, and the like.
Work requires travel in order to conduct community and home visits.

Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Social Work, Behavioral Science, or a related field, One year experience performing correctional, security or social service work preferred.
Or
Any equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
