VCA Acacia Animal Hospital and Pet Resort is seeking a full-time Veterinary Assistant to join our skilled technician team at our AAHA-accredited small animal, exotic, and holistic practice in Escondido, CA. This is a great opportunity to work with a dynamic team and expand your knowledge while working in a fast-paced environment! You will be challenged to use your know-how and skills to the best of your ability with a team that will support you along the way.
Location: 655 W Citracado Pkwy, Escondido, CA 92025
Schedule: 4 days, 10-hour work week
Salary: $19 - $23 / hour, depending on experience and skills
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of experience in veterinary medicine preferred but not required. Preference will be given to candidates with experience.
The ideal candidate will be a team player who is friendly, outgoing, people-oriented, and has excellent communication and client service skills.
Previous experience in the veterinary field is desired but not required. We are looking for the right individual who is driven, positive, reliable, and creative. The Veterinary Assistant position is a great place to start if you are curious about or want to get into the Veterinary field.
