Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

Transportation Management:

• Ensure transport relevant milestones are reported accurately and on time in TMS, in line with SLA/specific requirements
• Support transport issue resolution with root cause analysis during transport execution, e.g. failed deliveries or Overage, Shortage, and damages in transit
• Monitor and manage reason code completeness and quality across all shipments, flagging gaps and driving corrections with carriers and internal teams
• Conduct monthly milestone audits for all shipments coordinating updates with the Logistics Operations Specialist and ensuring corrections are reflected in the TMS within agreed timelines
• Manage the end-to-end freight claims process for damage, loss, and shortage: from incident registration through carrier resolution and final payment to Client
• Track all open claims and provide monthly status updates to the US Logistics Operations Manager and relevant stakeholders
• Present KPI reports covering on-time delivery, damage rates, milestone compliance, carrier and warehouse performance
• Conduct data analysis to identify trends, root causes, and improvement opportunities across transport lanes, carrier performance, and freight cost management
• Provide analytical support for transport issue resolution, liaising between carriers, the Logistics Operations Specialist, and Customer Service
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by translating data insights into actionable recommendations for the transport planning team
• Manage the operational outlook mailbox, responding to internal and external queries in a timely manner
• Support logistics operations specialists through managing ETA requests or building and tendering shipments to carrier partners, as well as Proof of delivery (POD) management and cancellation requests
• Manage seasonal fluctuations and peak period performance and reporting

Performance Monitoring and Reporting:

• Manage suppliers to ensure their performance is compliant with KPIs and expectations of their contract
• Monitor performance reporting dashboards in PowerBI and the internally existing KPI dashboard to provide management with real-time operational visibility
• Recommend strategic supplier management approaches to resolve performance challenges
• Assess and adjudicate accessorial charge requests, balancing cost control with operational efficiency to optimize Logistics spend
• Generate and present KPI, timely Goods Issue (PGI), and Utilization reports to provide senior management with data driven solutions for continuous improvement
• Maintain optimal inventory accuracy through proactive discrepancy resolution, while implementing continuous improvement initiatives to reduce errors

Cross-functional Collaboration:

• Collaborate with Supply Chain Planning, Production, Direct Procurement, Digital Productivity & Innovation, Regulatory, Quality, Product Technology & Engineering, HSE, Customer Service, and NA Logistics colleagues
• Develop and Implement solutions for challenges arising in Distribution Planning, Inventory Management, Import/Export operations, and Production processes as they relate to the Supply Chain
• Develop strategies to enhance customer satisfaction through improved logistics
• Collaborate with Customer Service, Sales and Marketing to align logistics capabilities with customer needs

Skills:

• Proficiency in Logistics based technology solutions, such as TMS (E2Open preferred), SAP, and carrier web portals
• Strong understanding of freight milestone structures, reason codes, and SLA frameworks
• Experience with freight claims management processes
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to make timely and efficient decisions

Education:

• May require an associate's degree or equivalent.
