Dreisilker Electric Motors is looking for a dependable, hardworking individual to join our Repair Center team as a Repair Center Laborer. This is an entry-level opportunity for someone who enjoys working with their hands, learning new skills, and being part of a team.
You do not need previous electric motor repair experience. We will provide hands-on training in the foundational areas of our repair process, including stripping parts, steam cleaning, preparing equipment for repair, and maintaining a safe and organized work area.
This position is designed to be the first step toward a skilled career. As you gain experience and demonstrate your abilities, the goal is to train and develop you for advancement into either an Electric Motor Winder or Electric Motor Mechanic position.
This role is intended to develop into a skilled position within our Repair Center. Based on your interests, performance, and abilities, you may have the opportunity to train toward one of the following career paths:
Electric Motor Winder
Learn how to remove, form, install, connect, and test motor windings.
Electric Motor Mechanic
Learn how to disassemble, inspect, measure, repair, assemble, and test electric motors and related equipment.
