Cullerton Group has a new opportunity for a Controls Engineer 2 – Systems Validation in Mossville, IL. The work will be done 100% onsite, Monday–Friday, first shift from approximately 8:00 AM–4:00 PM. This is a 12-month position that can lead to permanent employment with our client and may require 0–25% domestic travel. Compensation is up to $51/hr + full benefits (vision, dental, health insurance, 401k, and holiday pay).
Job Summary
We are seeking a Controls Engineer to support system-level validation of a Modular Power Conversion System (MPCS) throughout the New Product Introduction (NPI) lifecycle. This engineer will plan, coordinate, and execute validation activities to ensure system functionality, safety, performance, cybersecurity, and customer requirements are met before product release. The position provides hands-on exposure to microgrid and energy storage technologies, working across controls, software, electrical systems, communications, and product development.
