An established, nationally recognized Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in Durham, North Carolina is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our growing primary care team. For more than 50 years, we have provided comprehensive, high-quality healthcare services to patients throughout Durham and surrounding communities, regardless of their ability to pay.
Position Highlights
- Full-time outpatient primary care position
- 32 hours of direct patient care
- 8 hours of dedicated administrative/documentation time
- Primarily Monday through Friday
- Rotating Saturday clinic coverage approximately 5-6 times per year
- Call coverage approximately 5-6 weeks per year
- Collaborative, team-based care model
- Opportunities to work alongside physicians, advanced practice providers, behavioral health professionals, pharmacists, and care coordinators

Monday - Thursday: 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM
Friday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Saturday: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Provider schedules are structured to support a healthy work-life balance while ensuring patient access.
Qualifications Required
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Family or Adult Nurse Practitioner Certification
- Current North Carolina Nurse Practitioner license or eligibility to obtain licensure
- Minimum of 2 years of primary care experience preferred
- Commitment to patient-centered care and community health
- Bilingual English/Spanish skills a plus
