Other standard ICU equipment
Documentation System: Meditech
Floating Policy: As needed
CERTIFICATIONS:
CCRN preferred
MUST HAVE:
2+ years of MICU/MSICU experience
BLS
PREFERRED / ADVANCED SKILLS:
Meditech experience preferred
Active Texas RN license
Temporary licenses will not be accepted
Central line placements
Bedside thoracentesis
Dialysis catheter placements
Cardioversions
Intubations
Other ICU procedures
MICU/MSICU experience
RN SCRUB COLOR:
Royal blue scrubs
NAIL POLICY:
Nails must be clean and healthy
No artificial nails, gel, NextGen, etc.
HAIR:
Hair must be neat and clean with no extreme styles or colors
Beards, mustaches, and sideburns must be clean and neatly trimmed
Hair must be pulled back if shoulder-length or longer when working in the lab
TATTOOS:
Body art should be covered whenever possible
Body art that cannot be covered daily will be addressed individually
PIERCINGS:
Visible piercings other than earrings are prohibited
Includes nose rings, tongue rings, etc.
FLOATING GUIDELINES:
As needed
ATTENDANCE POLICY:
