Job description
Janitorial Worker – Temp-to-Hire
Pay: $14.00/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 4:30 PM–7:30 PM
Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire
Language Requirement: English-speaking or Bilingual
Job Summary:
We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Janitorial Worker to maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary work environment. The ideal candidate will take pride in their work, have good attendance, and be comfortable performing routine cleaning and janitorial duties.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize offices, restrooms, common areas, and other assigned areas.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors.
- Empty trash and replace trash liners.
- Clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces.
- Restock restroom and cleaning supplies as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned areas.
- Follow proper cleaning procedures and workplace safety guidelines.
- Report maintenance issues, spills, or safety hazards to management.
- Perform other janitorial duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Must speak English or be bilingual.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Previous janitorial/cleaning experience is a plus, but not required.
- Must be able to consistently work the scheduled Monday–Friday shift.
