About the Role:
The full-time "Cost Estimator / Cost Analyst" will prepare independent estimates, review contractor pricing, evaluate change orders, and support cost tracking for public construction projects.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Develop independent cost estimates.
Review contractor proposals and pricing.
Evaluate change orders.
Review unit-price and time-and-material costs.
Track project costs and maintain accurate records.
Prepare cost reports and communicate findings to the project team.
Required Qualifications:
8+ years of experience in estimating or cost control.
Experience with public construction projects.
Experience with unit-price or time-and-material pricing.
Ability to accurately review contractor proposals, change orders, and project cost data.
Strong analytical, mathematical, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Professional certification in cost estimating or cost analysis.
ICEAA Professional Cost Estimator/Analyst (PCEA) or Certified Cost Estimator/Analyst (CCEA) certification.
Estimated Annual Compensation:
$140,000–$150,000 annually
