Pre-Licensed Therapist
Location: Springfield, Illinois (Hybrid – office, foster homes, and community-based)
Employment Type: Full-time
Salary: $51,000 - $55,000 annually, based on experience
About the Role
Clarvida is seeking a Pre-Licensed Therapist to provide therapeutic services to children and youth involved in the foster care system. In this role, you will deliver assessments, treatment planning, and ongoing individual counseling to support clients’ mental health needs, transitions, and permanency goals.
You will work directly with children and youth in foster homes and office settings while also providing education, guidance, and support to foster families. This position offers meaningful clinical supervision to support licensure, professional growth, and skill development.
Responsibilities
● Provide assessments, treatment planning, and individual counseling services
● Deliver therapy to children and youth involved in the foster care system
● Support clients’ mental health needs, transitions, and permanency goals
● Provide education, guidance, and support to foster families
● Participate in case assessments and treatment reviews
● Collaborate with case managers, supervisors, and community partners
● Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation
Requirements
● Master’s Degree in a Human Services field (Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field)
● Experience providing services to children, youth, and families in a treatment setting
● Valid State Driver’s License and active automobile insurance
● Ability to obtain an Illinois Driver’s License within thirty (30) days of hire if relocating from out of state
