Med/Surg Neuro RN (Neuro & Behavioral Health) – Topeka, KS

Pay & Benefits

  • Hourly Pay Rate: $56.95/hr

What You’ll Do

  • Provide high-quality care for acute and subacute neurological and psychiatric patients
  • Monitor and manage patients with stroke, TIA, neurological illnesses, behavioral health disorders, and post-surgical cases
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
  • Document patient care accurately in Epic EMR
  • Assist with patient assessments, medication administration, and intervention planning
  • Participate in unit safety and quality improvement initiatives


What You Need

  • Active KS or Multistate RN license (no hits allowed)
  • Minimum of 1 year of recent acute care medical/surgical experience
  • BLS certification (required at submission)
  • Experience with neurological or behavioral health patients (preferred but not mandatory)
  • Strong assessment skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

This 31-bed unit at a prominent hospital in Topeka specializes in caring for stroke, neurological, and behavioral health patients.
