Salary: $125,000 - 135,000 per year
Requirements:
- We are looking for at least 7 years of progressive, hands-on experience in systems engineering, infrastructure, networking, or data center administration in an enterprise production environment.
- We require a minimum of 5 years administering Cisco networking technologies, including routers, switches, firewalls, VLANs, ACLs, VPNs, wireless infrastructure, and routing protocols such as OSPF and BGP.
- We require a minimum of 5 years administering Windows Server and core infrastructure services, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, file services, patching, backups, and system monitoring.
- We require a minimum of 5 years administering VMware vSphere or a comparable virtualization platform in production, including cluster management, high availability, vMotion, resource planning, and lifecycle management.
- We require at least 3 years administering Microsoft Azure or Amazon AWS, including identity and access management, virtual networking, security configuration, deployment, monitoring, and hybrid connectivity.
- We are looking for experience with storage and backup technologies such as NAS, SAN, iSCSI, replication, disaster recovery planning, and recovery procedures.
- We need a strong understanding of cybersecurity practices for infrastructure environments, including secure configuration, vulnerability remediation, privileged access controls, network segmentation, logging, monitoring, and incident response support.
- We require experience leading infrastructure projects, coordinating vendors, documenting technical designs, implementing change controls, and transitioning systems into production support.
- We require Microsoft Certified AZ-800 and AZ-801, CompTIA Security+, and Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certifications.
- We prefer an undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- We prefer technical certifications and/or completion of technical courses aligned with the required technical qualifications.

Responsibilities:
- We lead the planning, design, implementation, operation, and maintenance of enterprise systems, telecommunications networks, local area networks, cloud services, virtualization platforms, storage systems, and data center infrastructure.
- We develop and maintain project plans, technical roadmaps, architecture standards, and long-range infrastructure strategies to modernize systems and improve performance, reliability, scalability, and security.
- We serve as a technical resource for systems engineering activities, ensuring solutions align with organizational policies, cybersecurity requirements, infrastructure standards, and operational best practices.
- We evaluate hardware, software, cloud, network, storage, security, and telecommunications solutions, prepare technical recommendations, and support procurement decisions with IT leadership.
- We create detailed system designs, implementation plans, network diagrams, operational specifications, configuration standards, and project schedules for infrastructure initiatives.
- We administer and support enterprise network technologies, including Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, VLANs, routing protocols, wireless infrastructure, fiber connectivity, and monitoring tools.
- We administer and support Windows Server environments, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, certificate services, file services, patching, backups, and system monitoring.
- We manage and support virtualization and storage platforms, including VMware vSphere, Hyper-V, NAS, SAN, iSCSI networks, replication, capacity planning, and high-availability configurations.
- We support the design, deployment, administration, and migration of cloud and hybrid services, including Microsoft Azure, Amazon AWS, Microsoft 365, identity services, virtual networking, and related security controls.
- We lead or support system migrations, infrastructure upgrades, lifecycle refreshes, disaster recovery improvements, and production deployments while minimizing service interruption.
- We integrate cybersecurity best practices into systems and infrastructure operations through secure configurations, access controls, vulnerability remediation, segmentation, logging, monitoring, and compliance support.
- We monitor system performance, review logs and alerts, identify trends, troubleshoot complex issues, and implement corrective actions to improve availability, stability, and security.
- We manage and document system configurations, standard operating procedures, change records, implementation plans, and transition-to-production activities.
- We capture, analyze, translate, and document business, technical, and end-user requirements into secure and supportable infrastructure solutions.
- We provide advanced troubleshooting, escalation support, root-cause analysis, and remediation for Level 2 and Level 3 operational issues across systems, network, cloud, and security platforms.
- We mentor junior technical staff, share knowledge with the Infrastructure team, and coordinate with vendors and service providers to resolve technical issues and deliver project outcomes.
