You will play a crucial role in assisting physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, contributing to high-quality patient care in a dynamic environment. The position involves operating specialized equipment, monitoring patient vitals, and maintaining sterile fields. Key Responsibilities Assist cardiologists and interventional radiologists during a variety of cardiac catheterization procedures, including angioplasties, stent placements, and electrophysiology studies. Operate and maintain specialized imaging equipment, such as fluoroscopy, intravascular ultrasound (IVUS), and fractional flow reserve (FFR) systems. Monitor patient vital signs, hemodynamic parameters, and cardiac rhythms throughout procedures, recognizing and reporting changes promptly. Prepare and maintain sterile fields, ensuring all equipment and supplies are readily available and properly sterilized. Document patient information, procedural details, and outcomes accurately in the electronic health record. Provide pre- and post-procedure patient care, including patient education and recovery monitoring. Ensure patient safety and comfort, adhering to all hospital policies and regulatory standards.
