Compensation: 24 Hr Call: $3990 per 24 hours, Night Call: $2330/shirt.

Schedule

Primary Need: Approximately 3 weekends per month

Additional Need: 1–2 weekdays per week may also be available

Night Call: 5:00 PM–7:00 AM

24-Hour Call: 7:00 AM–7:00 AM

Average Call Volume: Approximately 0–2 calls per 24-hour shift

Provider must indicate preferred coverage structure at presentation

Flexible Weekend Coverage Options

Friday 5:00 PM through Monday morning

Thursday 5:00 PM through Monday morning

24-hour call coverage Thursday through Monday morning

24-hour call coverage Friday through Monday morning

Call Details

STEMI call coverage required

30-minute response requirement

Provider must arrive within 30 minutes for STEMI

General Cardiology call is separate from Interventional Cardiology call

No average admissions while on call

Patient Population / Volume

Patient Population: 100% Adult

Average Inpatient Volume: Approximately 2–4 patients per day

Average Outpatient Volume: Approximately 2–3 patients per day

Typical Cases: Coronary disease / coronary interventions

Clinical Responsibilities

Provide Interventional Cardiology STEMI coverage

Perform scheduled cardiac catheterization cases when working daytime coverage

Provide inpatient and outpatient cardiology coverage as assigned

Provide cath lab coverage

Perform non-invasive cardiac interpretation when applicable

Manage diagnostic and interventional coronary cases

APP / Mid-Level support available

Typical APP shift: 8:00 AM–4:00 PM

Cardiac surgery backup is not available onsite

Cardiology and Intensivist services available onsite

Requirements

Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology – Required

Pennsylvania Medical License – Required for assignment

Candidates needing Pennsylvania licensure may be considered

IMLC Accepted

DEA – Required

ACLS – Required

BLS – Required

Minimum 1 Year of Experience – Required

Must be comfortable working independently

Must be able to meet 30-minute STEMI response requirement
