Job description

Job Description:

  • Perform administrative duties under the direction of the Assistant Program Manager
  • Handle reception duties
  • Schedule appointments
  • Perform other clerical tasks as assigned
  • Cover back office clinical duties as a Medical Assistant Receptionist
  • Work Monday and Friday 8am–5pm, with extended hours as required
  • Work 40 hours per week in a 100% remote position

Requirements:

  • Applicants must reside in Hawaii
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Medical assisting/office experience
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Comfortable using various forms of information and communication technology
  • Preferred: Associate’s or Bachelor's Degree
  • Preferred: Three (3) years medical assisting/office experience
  • Preferred: One (1) year working with mental health/substance use disorder clients
  • Preferred: Experience working with EPIC EMR
  • Preferred: Understands patient confidentiality laws (HIPAA) and medical information release procedures and laws
