We are currently seeking an Intermediate Systems Administrator to support a contract at The National Museum of the United States Air Force, Wright-Patterson AFB, OHPosition SummaryThe Systems Administrator II provides operational support for Windows, Linux, virtual, and enterprise infrastructure systems. The position is responsible for installation, configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting, backup and recovery, patch management, and performance monitoring of information systems supporting museum operations. Typical Systems Administrator II functions include maintaining assigned systems, resolving hardware/software issues, and serving as a technical expert for supported platforms.Duties and ResponsibilitiesInstall, configure, and maintain Windows and/or Linux servers.Perform user account administration and access management.Apply patches, updates, and security configurations.Monitor system performance, availability, and storage utilization.Implement and maintain backup and recovery procedures.Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues.Support virtualization and cloud-based technologies as applicable.Maintain technical documentation and standard operating procedures.Support cybersecurity requirements and STIG compliance efforts.Work closely with ISSM/ISSO personnel to remediate vulnerabilities.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field.3 to 5 years of system administration experience.Experience supporting enterprise Windows Server and Active Directory environments.Experience with virtualization technologies.Secret clearance (or ability to obtain).DoD 8140/8570 IAT Level II certification or equivalent.Preferred CertificationsSecurity+Microsoft Certified: Windows ServerVMware VCPLinux+ or RHCSAWhy Join Oneida Network Infrastructure?At Oneida Network Infrastructure (ONI), you'll have the opportunity to build a rewarding career while contributing to projects that connect communities, support critical infrastructure, and drive technological advancement.
