We are looking for a leader who embodies our core values of Integrity, Collaboration, Accountability, Respect, and Excellence to help us build a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment for our local youth.Position DetailsLocation: Cherry Hill ElementarySchedule: Part-Time, Monday - Friday, 1:00 PM - 6:00 PM (Hours may vary slightly)School Year: August 1 - May 31 (Summer program opportunities vary by area)Compensation: $23.00 - $28.00 per hourWhat You Will Do As a Site Coordinator, you will be responsible for the overall leadership, safety, and daily operation of our afterschool program. Your key responsibilities will include:Program Leadership: Plan and oversee high-quality youth development programs that support academic success, healthy lifestyles, and character development while meeting grant requirements.Safety & Compliance: Ensure a physically and emotionally safe environment. Maintain a 1:15 staff-to-youth ratio and comply with all Child Care Licensing, BGCA, and organizational safety policies.Team Management: Recruit, supervise, coach, and evaluate site staff and volunteers. Conduct weekly staff meetings and monthly 1:1 coaching sessions to foster a positive team culturemunity Partnerships: Build strong relationships with school administrators, teachers, families, and community partners to support student success and site operations.Operational Management: Manage site budgets, inventory, enrollment, and attendance records. Utilize data and surveys to continuously improve program quality.Who We Are Looking ForMust be at least 21 years of age.Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.Knowledge of youth development principles and practices.Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.CPR/First Aid Certification and Food Handler Permit (or the ability to obtain them within three months).Valid driver's license if operating BGCUC vehicles.Preferred: Experience working with youth ages 5–18, experience supervising staff/volunteers, and proficiency with Google Suite.
