About the Opportunity

We are seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join a collaborative skilled nursing facility (SNF) rehabilitation team in La Mesa, CA. Working under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, you will provide hands-on treatment that supports independence with daily activities and functional performance.

Responsibilities

· Implement treatment plans established by the supervising Occupational Therapist.

· Assist patients with therapeutic activities, ADL training, functional tasks, strengthening, and coordination.

· Monitor patient response and communicate progress to the Occupational Therapist.

· Educate patients and caregivers within the established plan of care.

· Complete accurate and timely documentation.

· Collaborate with the rehabilitation and interdisciplinary care team.

Qualifications

· Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.

· Active CA COTA license in good standing, or eligibility for licensures.

· Current BLS/CPR certification as required by the employer.

· Ability to work effectively under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.

· Strong communication, documentation, teamwork, and patient-care skills.
