QA/QC Manager
Are you an experienced Quality Supervisor ready to step into a Manager-level role? Kelly Services is hiring a QA/QC Manager to lead the quality function for a highly technical manufacturing operation producing custom HVAC and Computer Room Air Handler (CRAH) units supporting demanding customers.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll have real ownership of quality from incoming materials and production through Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), customer inspections and final shipment.
What You'll Do:
- Lead quality operations from incoming materials through final inspection and Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT)
- Oversee quality inspections, testing, nonconformances, and corrective actions
- Lead root cause investigations, CAPA, 5-Why and Fishbone analysis
- Own FAT documentation and support customer-witnessed testing
- Partner with Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain and Project Management to resolve quality issues
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings, P&IDs and electrical schematics
- Develop and improve SOPs, inspection processes and quality systems
- Track rework and Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) and drive continuous improvement
- Lead, train and develop quality and production employees
- Serve as the primary quality contact for customers and third-party inspectors
What You Bring:
- 3+ years of quality leadership or supervisory experience
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering or related technical field, or equivalent experience
- Extensive experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience supporting Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT)
- Experience with ERP/MES systems such as SAP, Epicor or Oracle
- Knowledge of root cause analysis and corrective action processes
- Ability to read mechanical drawings and electrical schematics
- HVAC manufacturing or sheet metal experience is an asset
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary range $100,000$120,000/year
