A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A FIELD ENUMERATORYou will play an important role in supporting agriculture by collecting accurate, reliable, and confidential data to help inform decision-making by agricultural leaders and USDA programs. No two days look exactly the same. This role offers variety, independence, and community engagement.Your responsibilities include:Interviewing farmers, ranchers, and agricultural businesses by phone or in personConducting crop counts in designated fields (not applicable to all positions)Recording survey responses, mileage, expenses, and hours worked using an iPadMaintaining clear, complete, and timely recordsRepresenting NASDA professionally and positively in all interactions QUALIFICATIONS FOR A FIELD ENUMERATORA valid driver's license and personal vehicle for in-person interviews, field surveys and crop counts.
