Main responsibilities:

• Quality Assurance Leadership: Lead and oversee all aspects of quality assurance within the production facility.
• Regulatory Compliance Expert: Stay abreast of food safety regulations and ensure the facility's compliance.
• Quality Control Professional: Implement and monitor rigorous quality control measures throughout the production process.
• Process Audits and Improvement: Conduct regular audits of production processes to identify areas for improvement.
• Documentation and Record-Keeping Excellence: Establish and maintain detailed documentation for quality control procedures.
• Supplier Quality Management: Collaborate with procurement to establish and maintain high-quality standards for incoming raw materials.
• Training and Development: Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for production staff on quality control procedures.
• Customer Satisfaction Focus: Collaborate with customer service to address quality-related concerns and inquiries.
• Non-Conformance Resolution: Lead investigations into quality non-conformance and deviations.
• Continuous Improvement Advocate: Foster a culture of continuous improvement in quality assurance processes.
• Collaboration with R&D: Work closely with the research and development team to ensure new products meet quality standards.
• Emergency Preparedness and Response: Develop and oversee emergency response plants related to quality issues.

We are looking for candidates who possess the following:

• Three (3) or more years of leadership experience in a production environment.
• Two (2) or more years working with Lean Manufacturing principles.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Four-year college degree in Food Science, Biological science, Chemistry, or a related field.
• Certification in HACCP Principles and Preventive Controls for Human Food
• Strong production background the ability to turn data into action.
• Ability to manage and develop employees.
• Ability to interface with regulatory agencies.
• Strong skills Working knowledge of MS applications including proficiency with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint and ability to grasp additional business-related applications.
