Our brand-new senior living community is preparing for its grand opening, and we’re building an exceptional Activity Enrichment team to create engaging, purposeful experiences for our residents.

As an Activity Enrichment Leader at Belmont Village Senior Living, you’ll use an established, research-based curriculum to lead small-group fitness, art, music, thought provoking discussions, and enrichment programs for cognitively impaired older adults. Your ability to engage different personalities, adapt instruction, facilitate discussion, and make learning enjoyable can make you especially successful in this role.

YOUR TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Leading and teaching small groups of cognitively impaired seniors using our award winning therapeutic Whole Brain Fitness programs.

• Preparing materials and conducting relevant research to confidently lead engaging memory enrichment activities

• Assisting with Cognitive Assessments, tracking and trending of resident participation and maintaining compliance related documentation

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THIS ROLE

• Associates Degree with coursework in Recreation Therapy, Social Work, Psychology, Education or a related field of study. Bachelor's Degree preferred.

• Minimum of 6 months leading group activities with a special needs population

• Ability to work the defined schedule for this position which may include weekends

• Must be able to communicate clearly in verbal and written English

• Professional, pleasant, adaptable with a team oriented attitude

• Consistent and reliable attendance is essential for all Belmont Village employees to ensure the successful operation of the community
