Position Overview

We are seeking experienced Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs/LVNs) to support CVS MinuteClinic locations.

This is an excellent opportunity for nurses with recent Primary Care (OR) Urgent Care (OR) Emergency Room, or outpatient clinical experience who are comfortable working in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment.

Key Clinical Responsibilities

• Patient registration, intake, and vital signs
• Patient assessments and clinical history
• Immunizations and injections
• Phlebotomy and specimen collection
• Point-of-care testing
• EKG and other diagnostic testing as applicable
• Patient education and vaccine counseling
• Assisting providers with clinical procedures
• EMR/EHR documentation
• Supporting patient flow and overall patient experience

Required Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted LPN/LVN license
• Minimum 1 year of recent healthcare experience
• Recent experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care, Emergency Room, or comparable outpatient clinical setting
• Previous immunization/vaccine and injection experience
• Phlebotomy/specimen collection experience
• Point-of-care testing experience
• EMR/EHR experience; Epic preferred
• Current BLS Certification
• Strong communication and patient-care skills
• Ability to work 32 40 hours/week
• Ability to work every other weekend
• Reliable transportation to assigned clinic

Important Experience Requirement

Candidates whose experience is primarily limited to Long-Term Care (LTC), Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNF), Home Health, LTAC, or similar settings will NOT be considered.

We are specifically seeking candidates with recent outpatient/clinic experience, particularly Primary Care, Urgent Care, Emergency Room, or comparable clinical experience.
