POSITION SUMMARY
The Procurement Specialist is responsible for supporting sourcing, purchasing, and supplier management activities to ensure timely procurement of goods and services that support warehouse operations and business objectives. The role executes purchasing activities while following established procurement policies and procedures.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Key Responsibilities
- Procurement & Sourcing Support supplier identification and evaluation. Execute purchase orders and routine procurement transactions. Support market research and assist in identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Supplier Management Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and service providers. Assist with supplier performance tracking and maintain supplier records. Resolve supplier-related issues, including quality concerns, delivery delays, and invoice discrepancies. Support supplier onboarding
- Cost Management Support cost reduction initiatives through purchasing analysis. Compile purchasing data and prepare reports. Support budgeting and forecasting activities related to procurement expenditures.
- Operational Support Coordinate procurement activities with warehouse, operations, transportation, finance, and inventory teams. Ensure materials and services are delivered according to operational requirements. Monitor inventory levels and support replenishment activities as necessary. Assist with risk mitigation planning for supply disruptions.
- Compliance & Reporting Ensure adherence to company policies, ethical sourcing standards, and applicable regulations. Maintain procurement records and audit documentation. Prepare routine procurement reports and maintain documentation.
REQUIRED SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
13 years of procurement, purchasing, sourcing, or supply chain experience. Proficiency with ERP systems and procurement platforms. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

For this position, the expected base pay range is $70,000.00 $85,000.00 Annual. Actual compensation will be determined based on job-related factors such as relevant experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location, in accordance with applicable laws and company policy.
