About the Role
We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to manage outgoing shipments and ensure accurate, timely deliveries. In this fast-paced role, you will prepare shipping documentation, package products according to company standards, and coordinate directly with carriers.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare packing slips, shipping labels, and bills of lading.
Safely package outgoing products following standard operating procedures.
Schedule carrier pickups, track deliveries, and verify shipping contact details.
Maintain accurate shipping logs, records, and documentation.
Assist with warehouse inventory control and routine cycle counts.
Follow all company shipping/receiving protocols and workplace safety rules.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Basic computer proficiency, including comfort using shipping software.
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and time management skills.
Physical capability to lift, push, and move heavy packages.
Prior warehouse or shipping experience preferred.
Forklift certification and experience with Transportation Management Systems (TMS) are a plus.
Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $20.00 - $20.00 Per Hour
