Job Overview
We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer with strong mechanical and manufacturing engineering experience to support manufacturing operations in a regulated medical device manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on foundry experience along with knowledge of casting, metals, brazing, wax injection, process validation, GD&T, CMM, gaging, and statistical analysis.
Key Responsibilities
Support manufacturing processes and process development activities.
Provide engineering support for foundry and metal-processing operations.
Support casting, brazing, wax injection, and related manufacturing processes.
Support process validation and continuous improvement activities.
Support fixture, tooling, and gage design activities.
Apply GD&T, CMM, and gaging techniques to manufacturing processes.
Perform statistical analysis and use Minitab for process evaluation.
Troubleshoot manufacturing processes and support root cause analysis.
Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, and Engineering teams to improve process efficiency and product quality.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering.
3+ years of Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering experience.
Hands-on foundry experience is required.
Experience with metals, casting, brazing, and wax injection.
Experience with process validation.
Strong knowledge of GD&T, CMM, and gaging.
Experience with statistical analysis and Minitab.
Experience with NX CAD and Windchill is a plus.
Experience with fixture/gage design and wax injection tooling is a plus.
Experience with injection molding is a plus.
Strong problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
