About the Position
LocumJobsOnline is working with Provider Healthcare to find a qualified Neonatal NP in Utah!
Schedule: Full-time locum, 12-hour shifts (7A–7P and 7P–7A), weekdays, weekends, and holidays (~24 shifts/month) or 3/12 shifts a week.
Description:
Join a Level IV NICU surgical unit in beautiful Utah as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) or Board-Certified PA. This locum role offers the opportunity to practice at the top of your scope in a high-acuity environment while enjoying the outdoor lifestyle Utah has to offer.
Responsibilities:
Provide inpatient care for critically ill neonates, including surgical and ECMO cases (experience helpful but not required)
Obtain and document patient histories and discharge exams
Write medical orders within scope of practice
Collaborate with neonatologists, nurses, and respiratory therapists
Participate in rounding, family communication, and high-risk deliveries
Qualifications:
NCC-certified Neonatal NP or Board-Certified PA
Active Utah license (or eligibility)
Current BLS and NRP certifications
Experience in Level III or IV NICU preferred
