Simply VRM is hiring two dependable part-time evening team members to support our Portland vacation-rental operations. You will work primarily from our warehouse in central Southeast Portland, monitoring guest messages and property issues while completing assigned computer-based work during quieter periods.
Hours and schedules
6 p.m. to midnight. We are filling two fixed schedules:
• Thursday through Sunday, approximately 24 hours per week
• Monday through Wednesday, approximately 18 hours per week
When an urgent situation requires in-person assistance, you will drive to the property and help resolve it. Examples include delivering spare keys or supplies, resolving an access problem, performing light emergency cleaning, or handling another time-sensitive property issue. Most properties are within 10 minutes of the warehouse, and assignments are generally no more than 20 minutes away.
Responsibilities
• Monitor guest messages, property alerts, and active reservations
• Respond clearly and professionally using company procedures
• Identify urgent problems and take the appropriate action
• Drive to nearby properties when an in-person response is necessary
• Deliver keys, linens, supplies, or access devices
• Troubleshoot straightforward access, lock, Wi-Fi, and property issues
• Perform occasional light emergency cleaning or resetting
• Document communications, field visits, and outcomes
• Complete assigned computer work during quiet periods
• Keep emergency supplies and response kits organized
Requirements
• Reliable attendance for a fixed evening schedule
• Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and current auto insurance
• Comfortable using your personal vehicle for nearby work assignments
• Mileage is not reimbursed
• Strong written communication and sound judgment
• Comfortable working independently during evening hours
• Able to remain calm when problems are urgent
• Comfortable with messaging platforms and basic troubleshooting
• Able to lift and carry approximately 30 pounds
• Willing to perform occasional light cleaning and hands-on property work
Hospitality, property management, dispatch, customer support, cleaning, or maintenance experience is helpful but not required. Paid training.
