Job Title:

  • Cloud Transformation Architect Location: 100% Remote (U.S.) Position Type: Full-time, Direct W2 Salary Range: $150,000–$175,000 Annually Experience Required: 6+ years Sponsorship: U.S.

Job Summary:

  • We are seeking a Cloud Transformation Architect to design and govern cloud-native solutions across compute, networking, data, identity, and security domains on a major cloud platform.
  • The role partners closely with business stakeholders, security architects, and engineering teams to translate strategic objectives into pragmatic, scalable, and cost-effective cloud architectures aligned with enterprise standards.
  • The ideal candidate brings strong breadth across modern cloud capabilities, depth in at least one major provider, and the architectural judgment to balance time-to-market, cost, security, and long-term maintainability.
  • Required Qualifications Eight or more years of experience in software engineering or solution architecture roles.
  • Deep expertise designing cloud-native solutions on at least one major cloud platform.
  • Strong understanding of cloud networking, identity, and security primitives.
  • Experience with cloud migration, modernization, and platform consolidation programs.
  • Strong understanding of containerization, serverless, and managed data services.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience producing formal architecture artifacts and presenting them to senior leadership.
  • Track record of leading architecture reviews and influencing engineering direction.
  • Cloud architecture certification (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Preferred Qualifications Multiple cloud architecture certifications.
  • Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid cloud architectures.
  • Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF.
  • Exposure to regulated industries with strict cloud compliance requirements.
  • Experience driving FinOps and cost transparency initiatives.
