Job Title Radiation Therapy Technologist Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Radiation Therapy Technologist for a 13-week contract assignment in an outpatient Radiation Oncology clinic located in Conyers, Georgia. This role is crucial in delivering high-quality patient care within a supportive environment, focusing on individuals undergoing radiation treatment for various oncological conditions. The successful candidate will be responsible for administering prescribed radiation treatments, operating advanced therapy equipment, and ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout their treatment journey. This position requires a professional who can manage a daily patient flow efficiently while maintaining meticulous records and adhering to clinical protocols. Key Responsibilities Administer prescribed radiation treatments accurately and safely. Operate and maintain linear accelerators and other radiation therapy equipment. Perform daily quality assurance checks on equipment. Monitor patients during treatment for adverse reactions and provide support. Ensure precise patient positioning and immobilization for treatment delivery. Maintain accurate and detailed treatment records and documentation. Collaborate effectively with the radiation oncology team, including physicians, physicists, and dosimetrists. Educate patients about their treatment plans and provide compassionate care. Required Qualifications Minimum of two (2) years of recent experience as a Radiation Therapy Technologist in an oncology setting. Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of Conyers, Georgia.
