As a Veteran In Home Caregiver with Upscale Home Care, you will play a vital role in empowering veterans and seniors to thrive in the comfort of their own homes. About the Role:
As a Veteran In Home Caregiver, you will be responsible for providing in-home care services to our veteran clients in the Buckeye, AZ area, which may include:
• Assisting with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Managing medication schedules and administration
• Assisting with physical therapy exercises and rehabilitation
• Providing companionship and emotional support
• Assisting with light housekeeping and laundry
Responsibilities:
• Provide high-quality, personalized care to our veteran clients in their homes
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and their families
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
• Participate in ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date on the latest caregiving practices
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of client care services
Ideal Candidate:
• High school diploma required; experience working with seniors or veterans preferred
• 1 year of experience in the healthcare industry or a related field
• Compassionate, patient, and respectful attitude towards clients and families
• Ability to lift at least 25 pounds and stand for extended periods
• Reliable transportation
