We're seeking a detail-oriented professional with:
Required:
A Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, economics, business, finance, healthcare administration, mathematics, statistics, computer science, or related field and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
5 or more years of progressively responsible experience in healthcare analytics, healthcare finance, managed care, healthcare economics, decision support, or business analysis
Thorough understanding of decision support systems, business statistics, quantitative methods, relational databases, data modeling, and performance and profitability analysis
Knowledgeable in healthcare finance, financial planning, financial data management, reimbursement methodologies, and business development analytics
Applies experience analyzing healthcare financial, clinical, claims, enrollment, utilization, and operational data to support decision-making
Proficiency in developing and maintaining decision-support models, dashboards, and reporting solutions using multiple-data sources
Advanced knowledge of forecasting, trend analysis, regression analysis, financial modeling, utilization analysis, and performance measurement methodologies
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with ability to synthesize complex datasets into actionable recommendations
Proficient with SQL, Excel, Tableau, Power BI, SAS, R, Python or similar analytics tool
Communicates complex financial, operational, and technical information clearly through reports, presentations, and stakeholder discussions
Collaborates effectively with senior leaders, clinicians, operational stakeholders, and cross-functional project teams
Adapts within evolving healthcare, operational and regulatory environments
Preferred:
A Master's degree in business administration (MBA), public health (MPH), health economics, statistics, analytics, or related field
Certified Health Data Analyst (CHDA)
Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) Certification
Certified Analytics Professional (CAP)
Associate of Society of Actuaries (ASA) or related actuarial credential
Tableau, Power BI, SAS, or similar analytics certification
Knowledgeable of Medicare Advantage, Medicare Advantage Prescription Drug (MAPD), risk adjustment, value-based care, and population health management principles
Ability to apply experience supporting integrated delivery systems, physician groups, health plans, academic medical centers, or managed care organizations
