Job descriptionJoin our team of professionals at Aurora Behavioral Health System. ABHS is a free-standing psychiatric inpatient hospital with an outpatient program. Our psychiatric facility is licensed to treat adolescents and adults for a wide range of psychiatric conditions and chemical dependency. We are currently looking for a Full-Time Intake Counselor. NIGHT SHIFT. 8pm-6am#INDHIGHJob dutiesHandle all referrals for services, schedule assessments, and/or refer patients to appropriate community resourcesComplete level of care assessments for clients seeking inpatient and outpatient mental health and detox servicesAdmit new patients to the hospitalComplete pre-certification with insurance companies to authorize patients' hospitalizationWork with nursing, medical, and other disciplines to coordinate care for patientsRequirementsA master's degree in social work, counseling, or a closely related field is requiredLicensed in the state of Arizona and in good standing (LAC, LPC, LASAC, LISAC, LMSW, LCSW, LAMFT or LMFT)Strong working knowledge of DSM-5 criteria, community resources, assessment, and crisis interventionExperience in a behavioral healthcare hospital setting is a plusMust be 21 years oldAble to pass a background check, drug screen, and meet qualifications for an Arizona Fingerprint Clearance CardJob Types: Full Time Night (NOC) Shift 8pm-6am Benefits:401(k)Dental insuranceEmployee assistance programFlexible spending accountHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceMedical Specialty:Psychiatry Education:Master's (Required)License/Certification: Required(LAC, LPC, LASAC, LISAC, LMSW, LCSW, LAMFT or LMFT) (Required) Work Location: In person Glendale Aurora Behavioral Health 6015 W Peoria Ave Glendale AZ 85302
