Job Title: 2nd Shift Hand Packaging Operator
Pay: $22.00–$24.00 per hour
Hours: Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM–10:30 PM

As a Packaging Operator, you’ll handle the manual packaging, labeling, and visual inspection of finished products. You’ll work closely with the manufacturing team to ensure high-quality standards are met efficiently and safely.
What You'll Do
As a Packaging Operator, you will be responsible for
• Performing hand packaging and labeling of final products according to established specifications.
• Conducting detailed visual inspections of labels, packaging, and finished goods to identify defects or inconsistencies.
• Assembling, disassembling, and preparing packaging equipment, including making basic adjustments.
• Manually labeling and packaging finished goods when automated lines are not in use.
• Following strict cleanroom gowning procedures when entering and leaving regulated areas.
• Completing and maintaining accurate batch records, forms, and logbooks in accordance with Good Documentation Practices.
• Handling hazardous waste safely and disposing of materials properly.
• Keeping a tidy, safe, and organized work area, including machines, tools, and packaging supplies.
• Assisting team members with various manufacturing tasks as needed.
• Adhering to all SOPs, GMP, ISO standards, and safety guidelines.
• Performing any additional duties assigned by the supervisor.
What You'll Bring
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Hands-on cleanroom experience – this is REQUIRED.
• Experience in pharmaceutical, medical device, biotech, or regulated manufacturing is highly preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to spot defects.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Excellent teamwork and problem-solving abilities.
• Good manual dexterity and initiative.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to stand for two or more hours at a time.
• Ability to work safely and operate manual material-moving equipment.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.
