Social Media & Special Events Manager

Minto Communities is seeking a dynamic, creative, and highly organized Social Media & Special Events Manager to lead the strategy, execution, and performance of our social media presence while also planning and executing engaging onsite community events.

This role is responsible for managing all social platforms for both Minto Communities and Latitude Margaritaville by Minto Communities, as well as conceptualizing and delivering memorable experiences that bring our communities to life. The ideal candidate is both data-driven and creative, thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, and can manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Here's how you'll contribute:

Social Media Management

• Oversee, manage, and execute all social media activities across platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube, X, and TikTok
• Develop and maintain a consistent brand voice and visual identity across all channels
• Create compelling, high-quality content including graphics, short-form video, and copy
• Manage publishing calendars using tools such as Sprout Social, Hootsuite, or similar platforms
• Monitor engagement, respond to comments/messages, and maintain an active online presence
• Analyze performance metrics and provide regular reporting with actionable insights
• Collaborate with the agency of record on paid social strategies, campaigns, and optimization
• Stay current on social media trends, tools, and best practices to continuously improve performance

Content Strategy & Creation

• Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy that supports brand awareness, lead generation, and community engagement goals.
• Create compelling, platform-specific content including Reels, TikToks, Stories, short-form videos, photography, graphics, and written copy.
• Capture and produce original content onsite at communities, model homes, resident events, and special activations.
• Serve as the primary content creator for social channels, identifying and leveraging trends while maintaining brand standards.
• Plan and maintain a content calendar that aligns with marketing campaigns, promotions, events, and community initiatives.
• Edit and optimize photo and video assets using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, or similar tools.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and agency partners to develop content that highlights community lifestyle, residents, homebuyers, and brand storytelling.
• Monitor content performance and use data-driven insights to refine creative direction and improve engagement, reach, and conversion metrics.
• Build and maintain a library of photo, video, and branded content assets for ongoing marketing use.

Event Planning & Execution

• Plan, organize, and execute all onsite events within the community
• Collaborate closely with Marketing Directors to define event themes, objectives, and invitation strategies
• Take full ownership of event executionfrom concept through completion
• Manage event logistics including vendor coordination, budgeting, timelines, setup, and onsite management
• Deliver memorable, on-brand experiences that enhance community engagement and support marketing goals

What you bring to the team:

• 3-5 years of experience in social media management and event planning
• Proven experience managing multiple social media platforms for a brand or organization
• Proficiency with social media management tools such as Sprout Social, Hootsuite, or similar
• Strong graphic design and content creation skills using Canva, Adobe Photoshop, or comparable tools
• Demonstrated experience in planning and executing successful events
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and optimize performance
• Exceptional organizational and project management abilities
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally
• Positive attitude, proactive approach, and adaptability in a fast-changing environment

Additional Requirements:

• This is a fully in-office position based in the Tampa, FL; Coconut Creek, FL; or Hardeeville, SC office
• Travel required as needed for community events Florida, South Carolina, and Texas
• Flexibility to occasionally work evenings or weekends for event execution
