Job Summary

STAFFXPERT LLC is seeking a BLE Controller Embedded Software Engineer on behalf of our client in Austin, TX. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in embedded firmware development, Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) Controller/Link Layer development, and low-level software engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and debug embedded firmware for wireless devices.

• Develop and enhance Bluetooth/BLE Controller and Link Layer software.

• Work with bare-metal firmware, device drivers, and RTOS-based systems.

• Develop and maintain embedded software using C/C++.

• Develop Python scripts for testing, automation, and development support.

• Work with hardware interfaces including SPI, I2C, and UART.

• Troubleshoot firmware issues and support system-level integration and testing.

• Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and systems engineering teams.

Required Qualifications

• 4 10 years of experience in embedded firmware design, development, and testing.

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Bluetooth/BLE Controller or Link Layer development.

• Expert-level proficiency in C/C++.

• Experience with Python scripting.

• Strong experience with bare-metal firmware and device drivers.

• Hands-on experience with SPI, I2C, UART, and RTOS.

• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with 802.15.4, OpenThread, Zigbee, or Wi-Fi.

• Experience developing wireless or connectivity-focused embedded systems.

• Familiarity with embedded software testing and automation.
