Fondomonte is seeking a detail-oriented Commercial Operations Assistant Manager to help support the financial and operational performance of our agricultural business. This role manages key operational support functions including forecasting, order management, contingency management, product allocation, and financial and data analysis in partnership with the Commercial management team and cross-functional Finance partners. This role serves as the day-to-day point of contact for onsite staff, providing guidance, mentorship, and coordination support, without formal supervisory authority over personnel. The ideal candidate delivers effective client service, accurate process management, and timely execution, while anticipating problems and applying sound analytical judgment to business and financial data.

Full-Time | Salary: $83,000 $87,000/year, depending on Qualifications

Schedule: In-office, MondayFriday, 7:00 AM 4:00 PM

What Youll Do

• Serve as the primary onsite presence for the Commercial function, providing day-to-day guidance, mentorship, and coordination for onsite staff in the absence of remote senior management.
• Provide best-in-class customer experience through order management, process improvement, and problem-solving
• Monitor and manage timely sales order processing within SAP Sales and Distribution, maintaining required support documentation
• Develop financial and sales analysis, presentations, dashboards, and reports (variance analysis, margin analysis, KPI tracking) to support data-driven decision-making
• Assist with new customer solicitation, bid preparation, and commercial contract review, including financial terms and pricing
• Perform accounting and financial analysis functions supporting A/P, A/R, customer account reconciliations, and revenue reporting
• Partner with customers and vendors on billing, payment processing, and financial process improvements
• Maintain internal and external reporting, including cost analysis, sales performance metrics, and budget-to-actual comparisons
• Coordinate processing of damage claims and communicate delivery delays with customers alongside Operations and Logistics
• Liaise with Operations, Logistics, Procurement, and Finance to service customers and support accurate financial reporting
• Maintain and update internal documentation, including financial and reporting procedures

What Youll Bring

• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex international documents, regulations, and procedures
• High proficiency preparing, analyzing, and interpreting financial and sales data in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, formulas, and financial modeling
• Strong financial and analytical acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Working knowledge of SAP transaction codes (T-Codes)
• Diligent, proactive attitude with strong attention to detail and accuracy, particularly with financial data
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with sound independent judgment
• Collaborative team orientation that prioritizes team success
• Comfortable serving as the onsite point of contact and informal mentor for staff, exercising sound judgment in the absence of onsite senior management.

Education & Experience

• Associate's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or equivalent work experience
• Background in Agriculture, Logistics, Business Management, Finance, or Accounting preferred, not required
• Strong customer service or business development experience
• Experience supporting financial planning, reporting, budgeting, and data-driven decision-making preferred
• SAP or similar ERP experience preferred, including familiarity with relevant T-Codes
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other Office applications; BI/reporting tool experience a plus
