General contracting company seeking a Construction Assistant Superintendent to oversee construction for a grocery store project. This position will initially be on a project-by-project basis, with the potential to become permanent. The position offers compensation of up to $80,000 per year, depending on experience, to be discussed during the interview.
Applicants should have experience overseeing grocery store construction projects and knowledge of all areas of construction. Candidates must be able to create and forecast schedules for the trades needed during each phase of the construction timeline. Applicants should have experience with ground-up and tenant improvement projects and knowledge of construction trades such as drywall, electrical, rough framing, tile installation, and more. Candidates must know how to read plans, create project schedules, pull permits, and schedule inspections.
