NaphCare is hiring experienced Dental Assistants to join our team of healthcare professionals at the Washoe County Jail in Reno, NV.
We currently have PRN positions available, offering flexibility for experienced Dental Assistants interested in bringing their skills into a unique healthcare environment. Pay for this position is $20.90$22.00/hr.
As a Correctional Dental Assistant, you'll work alongside our Dentist, healthcare team, and correctional staff to provide quality dental care to our patient population. You'll utilize your dental assisting experience while caring for patients with a variety of dental and healthcare needs in a safe, structured clinical environment.
As a Dental Assistant, your responsibilities may include:
Requirements / Qualifications
Physical Capabilities: Must have the ability to stand for long periods, lift and move patients (up to 50 pounds), bend, squat, reach, push, pull, walk significant distances, and perform physically demanding tasks like CPR, all while maintaining good balance and endurance throughout a shift.
