Behavioral Assistants work one to one with youth in the home, school, and community through the New Jersey Children's System of Care.

What counts as relevant experience
Your year does not have to come from a clinical job title, and it does not have to be paid. Internships and volunteer work count when the involvement was substantive and ongoing. Examples of experience that typically qualifies:
General childcare, babysitting, retail, and food service do not meet the standard on their own. If you are not sure whether your background counts, apply and tell us what you did. We will look at it.

$25-35 per hour (W2), depending on experience
Before hire
Background check with fingerprinting, CARI clearance, verification of your diploma and experience, references, and completion of the Align credentialing packet.
