Digital Delivery Manager - Kiewit Infrastructure Engineers

Position Overview: As a Digital Delivery Manager at Kiewit, you will serve as a technical leader in digital delivery, BIM strategy, and multidisciplinary coordination across complex infrastructure projects. In this role, you will provide expertise in design technology platforms, model-based workflows, and project execution strategies while supporting engineering, construction, and design-build teams. You will lead BIM implementation efforts on large and complex projects, establish project-specific standards and workflows, and serve as a subject matter expert for digital delivery initiatives. This position is ideal for experienced BIM professionals, VDC leaders, engineering specialists, and design technology experts who are passionate about advancing model-based design and construction practices throughout the project lifecycle. In addition to project support, you will contribute to enterprise-wide BIM standards, mentor developing BIM professionals, and help drive innovation through automation, process improvement, and emerging technologies.
Responsibilities: Lead BIM/VDC or Digital Delivery programs on large-scale transportation, rail, transit, aviation, water, or infrastructure projects. Support Design-Build, Progressive Design-Build, CM/GC, and alternative delivery projects. Lead projects exceeding $100M in construction value, including mega-project environments. Utilize Autodesk(Revit) and Bentley OpenRoads. Develop and implement enterprise BIM standards, content libraries, governance frameworks, and digital delivery roadmaps. Drive organizational change, digital transformation, and adoption of model-based workflows. Lead, develop, and mentor BIM/VDC professionals and technical specialists. Support Reality Capture (LiDAR, Laser Scanning, Drone Capture), Digital Twins, and emerging design technology solutions. Serves as technical resource to engineers, designers and construction. Continuously looking for ways to improve processes for customers and makes recommendations for improvements.
Qualifications: Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Technology, Architecture, Construction Management, Drafting Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent progressive experience will be considered in lieu of a degree. 10+ years of progressive experience in BIM, VDC, Digital Delivery, or Design Technology leadership supporting major infrastructure, transportation, rail, transit, industrial, or vertical construction projects. Demonstrated success leading digital delivery strategies and BIM/VDC programs across complex, multidisciplinary project environments. Hands-on working experience with Bentley technologies, including OpenRoads Designer and ProjectWise, is required. Expert-level proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and collaborative model delivery workflows. Experience developing, implementing, and governing BIM Execution Plans (BEPs), digital delivery standards, and model management processes across multiple projects. Proven ability to lead and mentor BIM/VDC teams, drive best practices, and collaborate with engineering, construction, and project leadership teams. Advanced understanding of design and construction workflows, integrated project delivery, model-based design, and multidisciplinary coordination. Experience managing model governance, quality assurance, data compliance, and project-wide digital delivery standards. Experience utilizing a computer-aided drafting program (MicroStation, AutoCAD, Navis Works) and have knowledge of the latest computer operating systems; thorough understanding of spreadsheets and databases. Extensive experience facilitating coordination meetings, overseeing clash detection programs, and driving issue resolution across stakeholders. Strong understanding of civil infrastructure systems, utilities, transportation design, and construction means and methods. Experience presenting digital delivery strategies, model-based outcomes, and technical solutions to executive leadership, clients, and project teams. Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and priorities.
Base Compensation: $100,000/yr - $120,000/yr (Actual compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as education, experience, skillset, and/or location)
