The Junior Underwriter supports the underwriting team in the evaluation, processing, and servicing of commercial marine insurance accounts. This role is responsible for assisting with new and renewal business, maintaining underwriting files, preparing documentation, and ensuring data accuracy throughout the underwriting process. The Junior Underwriter works collaboratively with Underwriters, brokers, agents, and internal departments to provide efficient service and support profitable business growth.
