A Taste of What You'll Do

Join GALLO as a Platform Developer Sr and help create innovative technical solutions that support evolving business needs. In this role, you will design, develop, test, and implement platform applications and customizations while partnering with Platform Administrators, Business Relationship Managers, and other IT professionals.

You will apply advanced development methodologies and industry best practices to build new functionality, improve existing applications, resolve complex technical issues, and support successful platform upgrades. You will also help ensure solutions meet business requirements, integrate effectively with other IT services, and deliver a high-quality customer experience.

As a senior technical contributor, you will provide guidance to peers, promote best practices, contribute to product roadmap planning, and help teams meet delivery, budget, and service commitments. You will work independently across multiple projects in an Agile environment while continually identifying opportunities to improve systems, processes, and performance.

What You'll Need

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, MIS, Math, Systems Engineering, or Data Sciences plus 3 years of IT experience; OR Bachelor's degree plus 4 years of IT experience; OR High School diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 8 years of IT experience.
• Advanced experience in: Web Development (ie. html, javascript, css), Object Oriented Programming, Continuous Integration Software Development process, Data Modeling/Management, Change Management.
• Competency with REST/SOAP API functions.
• Knowledge of latest integration technologies available between applications and platforms.
• Full understanding of Agile methodologies and ITSM processes such as incident, problem, change management, and project development content.
• Advanced experience in data management concepts or data modeling on a major data management platform.
• Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
• Required to be 18 years or older. This may be in addition to other age requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.

How You'll Stand Out

• Excellent troubleshooting and analysis techniques. Strong problem solving and communication skills.
• Highly proficient in basic office applications such as MS Word, Excel, and Powerpoint.

The Fine Print

• We offer a broad salary range to allow for long-term growth. Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by multiple factors, including, but not limited to, education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Although we estimate the successful candidate hired into this role will be placed between the entry point and middle of the range, the decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to these factors. In addition to the salary, this position may be eligible for bonuses, incentive plans, or participate in tasting room tip pools, as applicable.
