Our continuous and rapid growth is attributable to the caliber of employees 4M strives to hire and retain. 4M Research is seeking a Cyber Security Analyst to join our team in Huntsville, AL.Selected candidate will support the identification of system vulnerabilities and determine appropriate security controls to mitigate or eliminate risk from the uncovered vulnerabilities. Candidate will also be responsible for preparing artifacts and documents to support government Authorization to Operate (ATO) activities. Additionally, the candidate will conduct and/or support vulnerability and security compliance assessments using applicable tools, including ACAS/Nessus, SCAP Compliance Checker (SCC), STIG Viewer, and Evaluate-STIG. The candidate will analyze assessment results, document security deficiencies, support remediation activities, and maintain evidence necessary to demonstrate compliance with applicable NIST, DoD, DISA, and Army cybersecurity requirements. Required:BS in a related field or 7+ years' direct experienceMinimum 5 years of experience in cyber security/Information Assurance with demonstrated RMF cyber security experienceDemonstrated experience with DoD RMF and obtaining and maintaining ATOsDemonstrated hands-on experience with eMASSExperience conducting vulnerability and STIG/compliance scans using ACAS/Nessus, SCC, STIG Viewer, Evaluate-STIG, or equivalent toolsWorking knowledge of NIST SP 800-53 and DoD cyber security policies.DoD 8570/8140-compliant IAT Level II certification (Security+ CE or higher)Active DoD Secret clearanceAbility to travel up to 15%Desired:Prior experience serving as a Cyber Security Analyst supporting DoD or Army systemsTop Secret/SCI security clearanceExperience supporting classified and/or multi-level security environmentsExperience with Windows, Linux, VMware, and system security/hardeningCISSP, SecurityX / CASP+, CySA+, or other applicable cyber security certificationPlease Note: U.S. Citizenship is requiredQualified candidates should apply online at Research, Inc. is an Affirmative Action/ Equal Opportunity Employer and an active participant in the Employment Eligibility Verification Program (E-Verify).
