Description: Role and Responsibilities
The Tax Administration Specialist is responsible for various duties in accomplishing the duties associated with delivery of completed tax returns to clients, processing forms to electronically file returns and the organization and storage of materials. Specific duties include:
- Processing various types of returns to include C-Corps, S-Corps, Partnerships, Trusts and Individuals.
- Compilation of taxpayer copy of the tax return.
- Physical or digital assembly of financial documents.
- Organization and delivery of all materials related to the return via either mail or digital communication.
- Electronic payment submission.
- Process improvement analysis.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in business preferred. Experience and knowledge of various tax return types and requirements. Will consider training candidates with combination of applicable experience and/or education. Qualified candidate should be technologically savvy, organized and possess a high attention to detail. Ability to communicate with clients and coworkers via email and phone in a professional manner.
Preferred Skills
Strong computer skills with Adobe Acrobat experience a plus. Organization, problem solving and time management skills. Attention to detail & ability to self-review.
Full-Time/Part-Time: Full-Time
Rate of Pay: $23-25/hour
Exempt/Non-Exempt: Exempt
Location: Springfield Processing Center
