We are currently seeking a Clinical Administrative Assistant * In Person Position *
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Under supervision, provides administrative and clinical support to the Clinical Director, Clinical Consultants, and Clinical Team within the TBOS/OP Department, with a focus on prior authorization processing, caseload coordination, waitlist follow-up, and related administrative duties.
PROCESSING DUTIES
1. Provide support to the Clinical Director, Clinical Consultants, and Clinical Team.
2. Review files, enter data, complete prior authorizations (PAs), create authorization requests, and request billing buckets.
3. Review faxes from insurance companies regarding prior authorization approvals or denials.
4. Review the waitlist, contact clients, and document encounters.
5. Assign and remove cases from clinicians’ caseloads as directed by the Clinical Consultant.
6. Escalate calls to the Clinical Management Team as needed.
7. Maintain accurate documentation of all submissions.
8. Ensure compliance with HIPAA and organizational confidentiality policies.
9. Utilize Microsoft products, Outlook, Teams, and the electronic medical record (EMR) system as required.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of High School or Equivalent. Experience with Medical records filing and processing preferred.
Bilingual preferred.
