POSITION OVERVIEW
- The Software Engineering team is seeking an experienced Oracle Field Service Cloud (OFSC) Integration SME to partner closely with full-stack developers on rebuilding and modernizing a field inspection application for a leading media and automotive communications client. In this role, you will serve as the primary authority on the OFSC platform, guiding the integration team through architectural decisions, API design, and implementation best practices. Your expertise will ensure a scalable, highly reliable connection between a modern application stack and Oracle Field Service Cloud.
DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Serve as the subject matter expert on OFSC platform capabilities, data models, business rules, routing logic, capacity categories, and work zone configurations.
• Architect, design, and build integration points between OFSC and modern application stacks using OFSC REST APIs (Activity, Resource, Capacity, and Core Manage APIs).
• Design and implement custom OFSC plugins using the OFSC Plugin Framework and JavaScript SDK.
• Guide full-stack developers on API consumption, payload structures, OAuth security, and error handling patterns.
• Author detailed integration specs, API contracts, and architectural diagrams to align cross-functional technical teams.
• Establish event-driven and asynchronous integration patterns utilizing webhooks and enterprise middleware while supporting DevOps practices in Git/CI-CD across OFSC environments.
