Aquinas Consulting is currently looking to fill a Backend Developer (C#) job in Fort Lauderdale, FL. This RIGHT-TO-HIRE job is available with one of our key customers in the media and technology industry. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting backend applications and integrations within a modern eCommerce environment. In order to be successful in this position, you must have strong C#/.NET development experience along with hands-on experience working with Shopify in a headless architecture.
Backend Developer (C#) Job responsibilities:
• Design, develop, test, and maintain backend applications and services using C# and .NET
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and integrations supporting web and eCommerce applications
• Develop integrations with Shopify and other headless commerce/CMS platforms
• Work with Shopify APIs, webhooks, and services to support product, customer, order, and transactional workflows
• Design scalable backend services that support headless front-end applications and digital experiences
• Develop and maintain database integrations, queries, and data models
• Troubleshoot application, API, and integration issues across development and production environments
• Collaborate with front-end developers, product teams, and other technical stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle
• Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and ongoing application enhancements
Qualifications:
• Five plus years of professional software development experience
• Strong hands-on development experience with C# and .NET/.NET Core
• Strong experience building backend services and RESTful APIs
• Hands-on experience working with Shopify in a headless architecture
• Experience integrating with Shopify APIs, including REST and/or GraphQL APIs and webhooks
• Experience with headless commerce or CMS architectures and decoupled front-end applications
• Experience with SQL Server and relational database development
• Experience with Entity Framework or similar ORM technologies
• Understanding of API security, authentication, and integration best practices
• Experience working within modern CI/CD and source control environments
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills
