We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Type: Contract (6 months with potential for extension)

Shift: Day shift, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM. (Hybrid schedule: 3 days onsite and 2 days offsite based on business need.)

Summary:
Sources and procures materials, equipment, and services from approved vendors.
Evaluates supplier capabilities, pricing, and performance to ensure best value or lowest price technically acceptable.
Analyzes vendor quotes, proposals, and service offerings to identify cost-effective and compliant solutions.
Negotiates pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers to achieve optimal value.
Monitors supplier performance and resolves issues related to delivery, quality, or pricing.
Ensures procurement activities comply with government regulations including FAR and DFARS.
Maintains supplier relationships to support quality, delivery, and cost objectives.
Follows established procurement procedures and internal controls for compliance.
Maintains procurement records and documentation for audit readiness.
Supports sourcing and purchasing activities under general supervision with defined guidelines.
Requirements:
Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
2–4 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management.
Working knowledge of government procurement regulations including FAR and DFARS.
Experience sourcing and procuring materials, equipment, and services.
Experience analyzing vendor quotes and proposals to select compliant solutions.
Experience negotiating pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers.
Experience monitoring supplier performance and resolving delivery, quality, or pricing issues.
Experience ensuring procurement activities follow established procedures and compliance standards.
Ability to follow established processes and operate effectively under supervision.
Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
